The show is an expression of Keith’s personality on and off the field. You can always expect to hear from Keith and his weekly co -hosts the hard hitting truth, passion of the game, and undeniable humor. Lock Down Coverage will be entertaining but also educational for the sports enthusiasts of all age groups.
Because Keith been in the game for so many years he has met highly influential people in the sports world. We’ll have the best in the business as guests to talk about life experiences and answer your questions. Keith Lewis
Keith Lewis was born and raised in Sacramento, California and has seen it all, from gangs, to successful people making it out the hood.
Keith graduated from Valley High School, then went on to earn a scholarship from the University of Oregon. He played football for the Ducks for four years earning All Pac 10 second team honors his sophmore and junior season. Then he went on to make First team All Pac 10 his senior year as a Safety and as a Special Teams player.
Keith’s journey after college continued as he was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the 6th round in 2004. His first year with the Niners he was named to the USA Today's All Joe Team, an award that goes to players that should have made the pro bowl that year. He played with San Francisco for six great seasons, and was voted Team Captain by the team two years in a row. Keith then went on to play for the Arizona Cardinals, and finally the Carolina Panthers in 2009.
Keith and his family have experienced both bad times and good times. His parents raised three sons and are still happily married, which is not common these days.
