Men and Women live in the same world, so why do they see it so differently? On the next Outreach Today we take a provocative look at some of the differences between men and women and how they impact relationships. Ladies if you’re confused by your man's behavior, we’re going to help get your Y-chromosome facts straight. And guys…we’re sharing some expert advice on what makes the ladies tick. We will speak to psychologist and author Dennis Kravetz about his book “I Never Have Any Luck with Dating,” a humorous look at dating and relationships. Kravetz will share tips on understanding male-female differences in priorities and approaches and how to close the gap. AND licensed professional counselor Barbara Peters shares advice for her book “He Said, She Said, I Said.” Her book is a unique approach from three perspectives: the man’s, the woman’s, and Barbara’s (the counselor’s). Peters will explain how one’s thoughts can impact behavior and create misunderstanding.

Melissa Jenkins-Simon is Founder and CEO of CI, Inc. (Creative Innovations). CI, Inc. is a social service agency that has been providing services since 1997. CI, Inc. counsels and provides educational services to children and families and operates shelters and transitional homes for children and women of domestic violence. CI, Inc. is a 501C (3) non-profit organization licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services, and is a Title XIX and XXI Certified Outpatient Clinic. Melissa has a Master’s degree in Public Administration, is a member of the National Association of Professional Women and the Arizona Council of Human Service Providers. Melissa is currently providing organizational management services to other non-profit agencies and in the implementation phase of a newly constructed center for homeless veterans.
Diane Stafford, M.Ed. of CI, Inc. (Creative Innovations) is the Vice President of Operations. Diane has worked with CI, Inc. since its inception in 1997; her focus is on program development, quality assurance, daily program operations and enhancing community awareness. Diane is also a practicing Therapist and a trained Reiki I & II practitioner.
Eva Bowen is the Executive Producer of Outreach Today. A 19-year veteran of the broadcast journalism industry, she has established herself as an accomplished producer and savvy journalist.
Eva is also an Adjunct Professor at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Telecommunication at Arizona State University in Phoenix, Arizona. Currently she’s teaching sophomore journalism students how to convert their print writing skills to the broadcast style.
From 2005-2010, Eva was the Executive Producer of the multi-Emmy-award winning talk show “Sonoran Living Live” on KNXV-TV in Phoenix, Arizona. Eva was also a frequent contributor to the show as an on-air reporter. Prior to joining "Sonoran Living Live” Eva was a news producer at KNXV. Eva is active in her community and serves on the Fiesta Bowls’ Ambassador Committee.
She holds a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism and an M.A. in Mass Communication from Arizona State University.
